BENADOR: BLESSING BEFORE THE STUDY OF THE TORAH

The Torah commands that before each Jew who is going to study, read or take part in discussions and studies related to the Torah, one must recite (once in the day,) the following blessing:

Blessed are You, Hashem our G-d, King of the universe, Who has made us holy through His commandments, and commanded us to actively study Torah.

Please Hashem, our G-d, sweeten the words of Your Torah in our mouths and in the mouths of all Your people Israel. May we and our offspring, and our offspring's offspring, and all the offspring of Your people, the House of Israel, may we all, together, know Your Name and study Your Torah for the sake of fulfilling Your desire. Blessed are You, Hashem, Who teaches Torah to His people Israel.

Blessed are You, Hashem our G-d, King of the universe, Who chose us from all the nations, and gave us the Torah. Blessed are You, Hashem, Giver of the Torah.

Amen

BENADOR: THE MORNING OF A NEW DAY...

B"H

Good morning, day and evening, my darlings,

Un grand bonjour ensoleille a tous mes amis, a tous mes amours...

The morning of a new, sunny and cool day...

May your day be filled with joy and love and with plenty of interesting things to admire and wonder...

Also, remember that, as Jews we are supposed to visit the sick, look after the elderly and watch over the kids when we cross the streets... and much more...

Naturally, just as in the planes when you receive the oxygen mask your duty is to secure your safety first, it also behooves us to look first and foremost after our own safety and the safety of our people, the Jewish people, so we can continue living a productive, G-d-Honoring, G-d-abiding life...

As Jews, we are responsible of Tikkun Olam, helping this world, be a better one... We have been doing it from the beginning, we do it now, and we shall continue doing it forever...

May G-d's Blessings be showered upon each and all of you... forever and ever...
